On the 45th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech, Midday broadcasts a speech by one of King's closest friends and advisors, Clarence Jones, who co-authored the famous address. His latest book is titled "What Would Martin Say?"

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute celebrated the publication of Vol. VI of the papers of the late civil rights leader Friday, Jan. 12. From left, Lawrence Bobo, the Martin Luther King Jr. Centennial Professor at Stanford; Clarence B. Jones, former King attorney and speechwriter; Isaiah Washington, star of the hit television series Grey's Anatomy; Dorothy Cotton, former education director of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference; Tavis Smiley, television and radio personality; Institute Director Clayborne Carson and Cornel West, university professor of religion at Princeton University, were on hand to mark the release of the volume titled Advocate of the Social Gospel: September 1948-March 1963.
